Hey Friends, if you caught my IG Live the other day I mentioned AfterPay, a NEW payment option offered at Checkout for a LOT of our favorite retailers!
What is AfterPay? Similar to old school Lay-Away- AfterPAy allows you to shop TODAY, and pay for your purchase over 4 Installment-Payments that are automatically taken every 2 weeks. Payment #1 is due at the time of purchase. But the difference is you get your stuff NOW!!!
There are NO additional FEE’s or Interest when you use AfterPay. Unless of course your payment is LATE. In that case you would incur a fee starting at $8. (Pay ON TIME = NO FEE’s)
Just shop online at participating retailers as you normally would. Head to your cart to begin the checkout process and prepare to make payment ans select AfterPay. You will know within seconds of selecting this option if you qualify for AfterPay! I wanted to test it out before I wrote up about it for y’all…
My Trial:
I tested the waters out back in August and it was a VERY SIMPLE and convenient option for me. Let’s discuss what excited me about AfterPay…
I am rather indecisive. So I often times will sot on a purchase in an attempt to make a final decision. With AfterPay, I discovered I could go ahead and order all of the options I was strongly considering with little commitment. Meaning I could pay just 1 of the 4 Payments to get the items. If I chose to return something to the retailer (providing you choose a store that allows in-store returns) the amount of the return is immediately credited to your balance and your remaining payments will be adjusted to reflect the return!
A couple of other things to note:
* They send you Payment Reminder Texts & Emails.
* They give you the option to pay ahead prior to the auto payment right from within the reminder communication!
* They have store promotions to Save $$$ often!!!
