Okay So I blogged about the KMEL Holiday House of Soul and immediately purchased a ticket for the show when they went on sale only to get a REFUND when Keyshia Cole Backed OUT!!!
Now let me start here: HUMILITY….. what happened to that??? If you will read below where Keyshia goes to Twitter to “explain” why she didn’t show…WHATEVER KEYSHIA!!! There is no excuse .. and the twist is that this is all because of the fact that this is her HOMETOWN (the Bay Area). And she wont open for The Weeknd?!?!? So what… its not a Tour its a House of Soul “Show”. These artist Kill me talking about who they wont perform before. Are you better than, above, or its because you have more tenure? Maybe, but blame it on the fact that you are in your home town, as Justification huh? OK!
If she Gave a DAMN about the Bay Area, her city Oakland in which she has the “Key” to… She would have done this show. NO MATTER WHAT-for her HOMETOWN FANS! You don’t get that big! You are just as relevant as your ratings, sales, and demands Keyshia! So to take it out on the Fans and back out at the last minute was in poor taste, a bad business decision and most of all a LET DOWN to “Your City”.
That attitude is soooo not my fave right now!!! We have to do better.
