Bring your passion for Bay Area artisan food and wine to North Berkeley’s Gourmet Ghetto for a three-hour walking tour. Participants will be introduced to the area’s history as the birthplace of California cuisine, spearheaded by Alice Waters’ Chez Panisse, and as a hub for local organic food movement. The weekly tours are led by an epicurean concierge and feature conversations with the area’s chefs and food purveyors, as well as a mouthwatering assortment of tastings and samples both sweet and savory.
